How Aloe Vera Concentrate Works...
Aloe Vera concentrate contains at least 6 antiseptic agents. Each of these substances exhibits antimicrobial activity and contribute to Aloe Veras infection fighting agents. The lupeol, salicylic acid and magnesium in aloe are very effective analgesics (pain killers). Aloe Vera concentrate contains a B-linked sugar which has been given the name acemannan. This is a complex, long-chain sugar-linked acetylated polymannose which is an immune-stimulator with feedback inhibition. It attaches to a receptor site and activates macrophages which are the cells that command and control our immune system. These macrophages in turn synthesize and secrete monokines at the location where the disease occurs. Monokines include interleukin-1, interferon, prostaglandin-EZ, tumor necrosis factor and colony stimulating factors. (In A Nutshell-Tremendous Anti-Disease, Anti-Cancer, Anti-AIDS activity!)

There are fatty acids that are known to have high anti-inflammatory agents. Its these agents that donate to the treatment of burns, cuts, abrasions, and other dermatological conditions. DIABETIC USAGE: Start with 1/2 capful 2x per day of concentrated aloe vera, prior to meals or snacks. After 3-4 days increase to 1 capful, 2x per day. Week 3, increase to 1 capful 3x daily. Monitor blood sugar daily (preferably in the morning before eating). All diabetics are different; your proper amount of aloe vera concentrate may be more or less than someone elses. You may increase to 4 capfuls daily if necessary after week 4.
